Although we are full time realtors, we often have to remember that many of the details that we handle on a daily basis are not so obvious to home buyers and sellers. We hope that we answer some of the most frequent questions below. If there are any questions not addressed please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What makes us different?
Believe it or not most realtors charge the same commission but we provide so much more. We believe that every home and condo should be marketed like a luxury property so we put our time, effort and money into preparing, presenting and marketing like other realtors don’t. From professional photography, videos, drone photos to professional marketing strategies….we make your Brookside Village shine.
What commission do you charge?
In Brookside Village and the South Bay the standard commission is 5% total based on the sales price. 2.5% generally goes to the buyers agent and 2.5% generally goes to the sellers agent. There may be times when it makes sense to offer a slightly higher commission to the buyer’s agent in the right market.
How do you offer more than other agents?
Many agents in the South Redondo Beach area think that simply putting a home on the MLS, putting a sign in the ground, and having an open house or two is enough. While that might get the home sold in a “sellers” market, it also means leaving quite a bit of money on the table. We do everything from free partial home staging and prep, to professional photography and media, to custom websites, to extensive marketing on the internet, social media, and top real estate sites.
How do we pick an agent?
We believe that the two most important aspects of choosing a realtor in the South Bay and Redondo Beach is knowledge and trust. Knowledge includes everything from a deep understanding of the market, to knowing who the likely buyers will be and how to reach them, to negotiating the best terms. Trust is harder to guage during an interview with a realtor so do your research. Look up past client testimonials, see how many homes the agent has sold.
What will you do during the process?
Unlike other realtors, we’re there from start to finish. It’s our goal to earn clients for life and the best way to do that is to exceed expectations. From getting the home ready, to recommending contractors or handymen, to having the home photographed, to negotiating terms and arranging home inspections, appraisers, etc. to successfully closing escrow….we’re here every step of the way.

How do we evaluate a realtor?
Finding the right realtor for you is difficult and finding a realtor you can trust. Personal referrals are always good or you can determine who some of the best realtor options are by seeing who sells homes in the area and by reading client testimonials.
