Brookside Village condo sells for $440,000
Well that didn’t really go according to the original plan. As we wrote when this was first listed back in February (different realtor at the time)…..we just were not sure what they were basing the original list price of $650,000 on. That was generally the price of 2 bedroom condos in the community. Originally listed in February this condo just closed at $440,000.
The 709 sq foot 1 bed 1 bath condos was in one of the larger buildings so the upside is that there’s an elevator (not that it’s needed for a 1st floor unit), but the larger buildings tend to have an apartment like feel which, we feel, definitely impacted value and perception.
When the 2nd agent took over it was more appropriately priced at $449,975 and then went under contract after about 2 weeks.

The community amenities are plentiful with beautifully landscaped grounds, tennis courts, fitness center, two beautiful pool and spa areas, clubhouse and even some river and ponds featuring Koi fish. It’s a very pleasant and friendly community. Brookside offers a great location close to the beach, Riviera Village and central to endless activities.
