The market has certainly slowed down in south Redondo Brookside Village with price reductions and lengthy days on market becoming the norm. Of the 4 active listings 3 have fairly significantly lowered the price since first listed. The other is new to the market. Of the 4 pending sales 2 of those reduced the price as well.

If you’ve been in the market for a 3 bedroom condo in Brookside it’s been a good time to be looking.  There have been 3 homes to hit the market.   One quickly went into escrow then a second hit the market at a very attractive $849,000.  With the other 2 being priced considerably lower, it was probably just a matter of time before the price reduction on this one.  It was originally listed at $1,090,000 and just reduced to $999,000.

The latest condo to hit the market in South Redondo’s Brookside Village is a first floor 3 bedroom in a pretty ideal location within the community.

The home is by Piper Moretti of The Crypto Realty Group.

The condo is in nice condition with a nicely remodeled layout and, as mentioned, a great location.  That said this would be a record breaking sale by a considerable margin at the $1,190,000 list price.  The previous high sale in Brookside was  830 Camino Real Unit#201 which sold in 2022.  It’s hard to believe but that one was actually listed at $869,000 and sold at $1,125,000!

The latest condo to hit the market in South Redondo’s Brookside Village is a top floor 1 bedroom plus loft unit located at 603 S Prospect.   This is in one of the larger buildings so the upside is that there’s an elevator, but the larger buildings tend to have an apartment like feel.  The top floor location means soaring ceilings and a feeling of space much larger than the size would indicate.

The home is by Brittny Burford of Estate Properties.

The condo is in nice condition with some updates including a newer kitchen.  The tax records indicate 669 square feet but we believe that’s not including tthe loft square footage.  The listing indicates an estimated square footage of 950 which seems about right.
