52 Redondo Beach Home Sales in September

Redondo Real Estate Market Update for September

This past month saw a second straight slower month for  Redondo Beach real estate with 52 closed home sales during September 2022.  That said home prices in Redondo were very impressive with homes averaging almost $1.6M!

The average “list” price for the homes that closed escrow in September was $1,581,037 with the average sold price at $1,570,616.

Homes averaged $829 a square foot and averaged a very brief 28 days on market before going into pending status.

None of September’s home sales were in Brookside Village in South Redondo Beach.

What A Price – 631 S Prospect Avenue Unit#204 Sells for Over $1.0M!

It’s been a while since this condo actually sold but we would be remiss if we didn’t mention it due to the price.  This sold back in July but given that it was listed (somewhat appropriately at the time) at $895,000 and it closed at a jaw dropping $1,015,000!  The top floor 3 bedroom was very nicely remodeled but the price is still unbelievable and with interest rates rising and the market slowing….it may be a while before we see another million dollar plus condo sale in Brookside Village.
