It’s been a busy start to the year for real estate in Brookside Village. As of 4/20/19 there are no active homes for sale in Brookside Village but keep visiting our listings page as there will soon be homes on the market. There have been 9 condos on the market with 8 having sold or are in escrow. One smaller unit was pulled off of the market. Average list price has been $571,000 with an average sales price of $530,000 which indicates that the market is slowing a bit. It’s also due in part to sellers pricing a bit too high based on previous sales. The lowest price so far was $465,000 for a one bedroom at 641 S Prospect #203 which sold over list price and was in escrow after only 4 days. The high price was for a 3 bedroom unit at 643 S. Prospect #101 which was listed at $669,000 and is currently in escrow. As the sales price hasn’t been released it’s currently unknown. As it went into escrow after only 8 days it is likely to have sold at or over full price.
