A new condo listing just hit the market in Brookside Village and it’s a very nice 2nd story one bedroom condo in the 607 S Prospect building. Despite the unit number it’s not on the top floor as this is one of the larger buildings with 3 levels.  The condo is in great shape with wood flooring, updated kitchen and a nice upgraded look and feel.  The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t have much open space out front off of the balcony as it’s somewhat tucked behind another building.

The latest condo sale in south Redondo’s Brookside Village is a nicely remodeled one bedroom condo located at 802 Camino Real #206. Despite the unit number starting with a 2 the home was not a top floor unit and was actually in the 3 story part of the complex  The condo has a bright and clean look and feel with light hardwood floors and a remodeled kitchen.  The home was originally listed at $510,000 and sold at $551,000 after being on the market for little over a week.

Home Sales and Home Prices in Redondo Beach in February 2022

Take a look at the February 2022 real estate recap for the month that was in Redondo Beach CA.  Below is a full list of the homes, townhomes and condos that sold in all of Redondo Beach during February.  There were 25 sales in north Redondo and 12 in south Redondo Beach.

It was a very slow slow month for closed home sales in Redondo with only 37 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month.  Compare that to the 71 homes that closed escrow in December and it’s not hard to see just how slow the market was.

The average “list” price in Redondo was $1,244,162 with the average sold price at $1,330,530 meaning that, in general, homes sold WAY higher than the list price.
