4 Brookside Village Condos Sell in May

What a month it was for condo sales in the community of Brookside Village in south Redondo.  There were 4 homes that sold and another 2 currently pending.  It seemed like every sale this past month was record breaking.

The average list price for the condos that closed escrow was $685,500 while the average sold price was $733,500 so homes sold WAY over the actual asking price. The average price per foot was an impressive $817.

Redondo Beach Market Report – May 2022 Home Prices

Welcome to the Redondo Beach real estate recap for the month of May.  There were 60 homes that sold in May in Redondo Beach and 4 of those were in Brookside Village.  View all f the recent sales in Brookside Village.

In addition there another 2 condos currently in escrow so what a few months it has been.  t was a bit slower in terms of the number of homes that sold but all of the other stats more than made up for it.  Homes generally went into escrow in just about a week and sold over $100,000 above the list prices (on average)

The average “asking” price was a pretty massive $1,567,867 with the average sold price at $1,685,169 meaning that, in general, homes sold pretty dramatically over the original list price.

The average price per foot was $935 and homes only averaged 11 days on market  before going into pending status.

Beachlife Festival Comes to Redondo Beach and the Seaside Lagoon

Just a short drive from Brookside Village…..What a venue for a fun weekend concert…….One of our favorite South Bay events is back in town this weekend. The Beachlife Festival is 3 days of music, entertainment and community fun. We had the chance to go on Friday and it was fantastic as always.   There is, of course, the music, which covers a lot of genres and there’s definitely something for everyone.  There’s plenty of food and craft beer, booths of local companies, game areas with ping pong, and cornhole and more.  The event has 4 stages and our favorite is always the lowtide stage as you watch from the sand of Seaside Lagoon so it’s really like a day at the beach.  Visit the Beachlife Festival page for more information.
