Welcome to the April 2022 real estate recap for the month that was for home sales in Redondo Beach California.

The real estate market in Redondo Beach was very strong once again with 76 homes closing escrow during the month compared with 74 in March.

The average “list” price for the homes that sold was $1,474,590 with the average sold price at $1,611,603 meaning that, in general, homes sold DRAMATICALLY higher than the list price.

The average price per foot was $934 and median days on market was and extremely brief 12 before going into pending status.  See how that compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate market trends and statistics page.

Of the 76 home sales, 3 were condos in Brookside Village.  One of the homes that sold was a condo in Brookside Village that was a record sale! 830 Camino Real Unit#201 sold for $256,000 over the list price at a stunning $1,125,000.

A new 2nd story top floor home  just hit the market in Brookside Village and it’s a very nice 2 bedroom condo and it’s located at  615 S Prospect #207.   The condo overlooks the guest parking area out front so the view isn’t much but there is a nice sense of space out front.  The condo itself is in fairly original condition with a few cosmetic updates over the years.  The home is listed at a probate sale but it’s unclear whether there is court confirmation required.  We’ll post more on that when we get additional info.

A new condo listing just hit the market in Brookside Village and it’s a very nice 2nd story one bedroom condo in the 607 S Prospect building. Despite the unit number it’s not on the top floor as this is one of the larger buildings with 3 levels.  The condo is in great shape with wood flooring, updated kitchen and a nice upgraded look and feel.  The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t have much open space out front off of the balcony as it’s somewhat tucked behind another building.
