The latest condo to hit the market in South Redondo’s Brookside Village is a first floor 1 bedroom at 601 S Prospect.   This is in one of the larger buildings so the upside is that there’s an elevator (not that it’s needed for a 1st floor unit), but the larger buildings tend to have an apartment like feel.

We were pretty unsure where the price or value came from on this one as the list price of $650,000 was more in line with 2 bedroom condos in the community and the other  one bedroom units were priced at $535,000 and $549,000.

The community amenities are plentiful with beautifully landscaped grounds, tennis courts, fitness center, two beautiful pool and spa areas, clubhouse and even some river and ponds featuring Koi fish.  It’s a very pleasant and friendly community.  Brookside offers a great location close to the beach, Riviera Village and central to endless activities.
