One of a few 3 bedroom condo sales in South Redondo’s Brookside Village was another well priced listing that didn’t last long.  The first floor condo was well located, well priced and sold just above full price.  The home sold after a very brief 9 days on market.

The home is by Kathy Siegel of Vista Sotheby’s International.

The condo was a combo of some original features and some updates.  The updates included hardwood floors in the dining area, double pane  windows,  and newer carpet.  The home was located near the main pool and actually has a bit of a view of the pool and jacuzzi area without being too close.

While most of the active listings in Brookside Village sits on the market, there have been a few quick sales as well.  Not surprisingly both were priced very aggressively and both sold quickly.

One of them was a beautifully updated 2nd floor unit that we’ve now seen several times in the past few years.  The owners had paid $1,125,000 back in 2022 (home was listed at $869,000!) so at the list price of $975,000 it was bound to sell above their asking price.  That it did and it closed on 10/20 for $1,025,000.

The home was by Susan Jensen & Allison Baldocchi of Pacifica Properties Group, Inc.

This top floor unit was a spacious and bright 3 bedroom with a 175 square foot loft (per listing they are not including this in the total square footage)  The home has been beautifully remodeled with some of the highlights being stacked stone living room wall with electric fireplace, spacious kitchen with sleek contrasting cabinets,stainless appliances, white oak engineered flooring, along with nicely updated bathrooms.

It was a solid year for condo sales in Brookside Village in South Redondo Beach.  There were 18 condo sales in the community during 2023 with an average sales price of $701,306 and a median sales price of $685,000.  Homes were on the market for an average of 31 days before going into escrow.

It’s been a slow month in Brookside Village with little to talk about as there have not been any new listings in a while.  That said there was a recent sale and it was an impressive number.  This was a beautifully remodeled ground floor 2 bedroom condo that was listed for $699,000 and sold for $740,000.

The condo was beautifully remodeled with wood flooring, remodeled kitchen and baths and even has interior laundry which is a definite rarity in Brookside.

As we mentioned when this home was listed, we had a feeling that the condo would sell quickly and for over list price but this was pretty impressive.
