It was a good day if you’re a buyer looking at a condo in Brookside Village. 2 new listings hit the market today and both
are worth a look. The first is a 2 bedrooms 1st floor unit at 637 S Prospect #105 that is priced at $690,000. Although the pictures don’t really do it justice it has been upgraded a bit with a newer kitchen and new flooring.
The second is another, slightly larger, 2 bedroom first floor condo at 641 S Prospect #101 that is priced at $699,000. This home also has an updated kitchen and a nice sunny patio. The third home currently on the market (as of 5/17) is a 3 bedroom top floor unit with vaulted ceilings and great natural light. The home had been in escrow but recently fell out and is back on the market.

floor one bedroom + loft with 669 sq feet. The condo has been nicely updated with newer floors, cabinetry, countertops and stainless appliances. The last 3 one bedroom condos (none had loft) sold for $530,000 802 Camino Real Unit#204 (needed a lot of work), $550,000 603 S Prospect Avenue Unit#204, and $555,000 603 S Prospect Avenue Unit#204.
given that it was listed (somewhat appropriately at the time) at $895,000 and it closed at a jaw dropping $1,015,000! The top floor 3 bedroom was very nicely remodeled but the price is still unbelievable and with interest rates rising and the market slowing….it may be a while before we see another million dollar plus condo sale in Brookside Village.
