Just when we thought housing inventory couldn’t go any lower in Redondo Beach…..it drops once again. Inventory of Redondo Beach homes for sale historically dips a bit as we approach the holidays, as owners don’t want the hassle of showings and open houses during the holidays, but the level of available home inventory is starting to be a real concern. Considering that there were 125 homes for sale in December of 2020 it’s not hard to see how only 19 homes on the market is a major concern. The current market is just about perfect for home sellers but that’s definitely the opposite for home buyers at the moment. Redondo Beach saw 96 on market property sales closing during the month which made for a very big month for the city. The median “sold” price was $1,356,000 and the average days on market (DOM) was a brief 18 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $848. the community and happens to be one of our favorite spots with it’s tranquil setting. The home was listed for $650,000 and sold at $675,000 after a month on the market. A Trio Of Condo Sales in Brookside Village During October
October saw an incredible 97 homes sell in Redondo Beach in October and 3 of those sales were condos in South Redondo’s Brookside Village. The three condos that closed escrow were 816 Camino Real #203 which was a 2 bed, 2 bath top floor unit that closed at $649,000. The sedond was 601 Prospect #101 which was a very nicely updated first floor 2 bed/2 bath condo that closed at $655,000. The last of the trio was 900 Camino Real #102 which was another ground floor unit with 2 beds and 2 baths and it closed at an impresive $680,000.
