It’s been an active real estate market in Brookside Village in South Redondo Beach since the beginning of the year with one recent closed sale and an impressive 4 homes currently in escrow (as of 4/2/20).  The 2 recent sales were both in the 611 building. #202 which was a 2nd floor 2 bed/2 bath condo sold for $570,000 and 611 S Prospect Avenue Unit#104 which was a first floor 2 bed/2 bath sold for $575,000.  See below for the Brookside Village real estate activity in the past 90 days.

Bucking the trend of the rest of the South Bay with very limited inventory and homes for sale, Brookside Village in South Redondo Beach currently has 5 active condos for sale (as of 2/14/20).  As there is usually only  one or two condos available at one time, 5 current listings is pretty amazing.  See below for the current listings and condos.

Currently the Least Expensive Home in Redondo Is….You Guessed it…..in Brookside Village

As of 1/31/20 the lowest priced home in Redondo Beach is a one bedroom condo in Brookside Village.  This is a very nicely updated 1 bedroom 1 bath 669 square foot condo priced at $425,000.  Brookside Village is pretty ideally located as it’s just a short distance from the beach as well as the shops and restaurants of Riviera Village and King Harbor/Redondo Pier.

2019 Real Estate Recap – Home Sales in Brookside Village

2019 was a very solid year for home sales in Brookside Village with home prices continuing to rise. There were 19 condos sold in Brookside Village during the year with a median “list” price of $575,000 and a median sold price $579,000. This was a great indication that it was a definite seller’s market in this small community. Average days on market was only 23 and the price per square foot averaged around $587.

72 Home Sales in Redondo Beach in November

November was a slightly slower  month for home sales in Redondo Beach with 72 closed sales for the month which is a bit below average. Brookside Village was home to the lowest priced home sale of the month with a 1 bedroom condo selling for $425,000 in South Redondo’s most affordable community.  The median list price for all of Redondo Beach in November was $1,039,500 and the median sales price was $1,032,500 indicating a very solid seller’s market.  Those numbers indicate that homes are selling very close to their list price indicating a solid buyer demand.
