Welcome to Redondo Beach real estate market recap for March 2022 .

Redondo Beach home sale activity really improved from the last few months with 74 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month, compared  to the 37 homes that closed escrow in February.

The average “asking” price for the homes that sold was $1,514,688 with the average sold price at $1,626,255 meaning that, in general, homes sold much higher than the asking price. The average price per foot was $952 and median days on market was and extremely brief 7 before going into pending status.  See how that compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate market trends and statistics page.

One of the 74 homes was a condo in Brookside Village.  It was a 2 bedroom located at 647 S Prospect #102 that closed for an impressive $735,000.  One of the top sales of the month was  a beautiful almost new single family home at 2306 Robinson pictured above.  Congrats and thanks to our wonderful clients.

802 Camino Real #206 – 2nd Floor One Bedroom Sells at $551,000

The latest condo sale in south Redondo’s Brookside Village is a nicely remodeled one bedroom condo located at 802 Camino Real #206. Despite the unit number starting with a 2 the home was not a top floor unit and was actually in the 3 story part of the complex  The condo has a bright and clean look and feel with light hardwood floors and a remodeled kitchen.  The home was originally listed at $510,000 and sold at $551,000 after being on the market for little over a week.

Redondo Beach January Home Sales

Welcome to the first Redondo Beach real estate market update of 2022

In what was certainly expected based on the very low number of pending sales in December, it was a very down month for closed home sales in Redondo.  There were only 38 on market homes, townhomes and conds closing escrow during January of 2022.

The average “list” price was $1,316,600 with the average sold price at $1,367,192 meaning that, in general, homes sold well higher than the list price. Of the 38 homes only one was in Brookside Village and was a 2 bedroom condo at  649 Prospect AVE #204 that closed at an impressive $694,000.

Welcome to the real estate recap for August 2021 in Redondo Beach.  It was another incredible month for home sales in Redondo Beach CARedondo Beach townhomes - 2207 Harriman with 82 on market home sales. The average list price was $1,330,821 with the average sales price of $1,385,527 meaning homes sold WAY above the asking price. Homes averaged only 17 days on market before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $783.

3 of the sales were in Brookside Village in South Redondo.
